Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch in a match for the latter’s RAW Women’s Championship becoming the face of the women’s division on WWE’s red brand.
Bianca Belair had won her first championship on the main roster when she defeated Sasha Banks at last year’s WrestleMania. The EST lost the title to Becky Lynch at SummerSlam 2021 in just 26 seconds. This was a match for redemption at WrestleMania and both women had a great build-up to the encounter.
In the match, the two top female superstars in WWE delivered some fantastic moments. In the end, Belair used her exemplary athleticism to counter Lynch’s ManHandle slam and delivered a KOD to win the title.
Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix shared a picture on Twitter from Night 2 of WrestleMania with Belair by her side. The 32-year-old was seen holding the RAW Women’s Championship belt on her shoulders. Phoenix, who was one of the most powerful female superstars of her time congratulated the new champion saying “Congrats Champ. @BiancaBelairWWE continues to amaze me. @BeckyLynchWWE hates this photo.”
Bianca Belair showed her gratitude by quote retweeting the aforementioned tweet and writing: “I’m printing out and framing this photo!”
Sasha Banks and Naomi beat the teams of Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, Queen Zelina and Carmella, and Natalya and Shayna Baszler to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on Night 2 of WrestleMania.
Sasha Banks and Naomi displayed great in-ring chemistry en route to their win. The emotions were evident on the faces of the two veterans after the win. This was also the first WrestleMania win for “The Boss” and it’s even more special because it has come alongside her great friend Naomi.
Bianca Belair reacted after their win as she tweeted:
“THEY DID IT!! @SashaBanksWWE@NaomiWWE PURE MAGIC!!!
This Makes Me So Happy! wrESTleMania#BossxGlow”
After some time The EST quote retweeted a picture posted by Banks. Sasha and Naomi were seen holding the Tag Titles while Belair posed with her RAW Women’s Championship.
