Edge vs Seth Rollins delivered as expected. The two superstars went back and forth for almost 30 minutes.
The Hell in a Cell match began picking up pace after Edge brought the steel steps inside the ring.
Rollins nearly had the win secured after he hit Edge with a clean superkick (with a chain tied to his boot).
‘The Visionary’ decided to inflict further damage by placing Edge’s head onto a chair and going for the stomp, and that was when Edge countered with a chair strike to Rollins’ groin.
Edge thereby turned the tide to his favour, and finally delivered a curb stomp of his own to earn the win.
Following Edge’s victory, his wife, and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix had a weird reaction. Taking to Twitter she posted a photo of a rather distraught looking Becky Lynch – the wife of Seth Rollins.

It is worth noting that, Phoenix hasn’t competed since Royal Rumble 2020. She is currently a full-time colour commentator on NXT.
A prime Phoenix vs Lynch would have been a treat to watch. But now that she is definitely past her prime, Lynch would start as the favourite if the match ever comes to fruition.
