WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix thinks about a new rivalry for Edge after Crown Jewel
WWE superstar Edge put up a stellar performance at the WWE Crown Jewel against Seth Rollins, whom he defeated in a Hell-in-a-Cell encounter.
Edge’s wife, a WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, has already started to think about her husband’s next opponent. After Finn Balor lost his King of the Ring final match to Xavier Woods, he took to Twitter to share about his loss,
Balor mentioned that he might not have become the King, but he will always be the Prince of WWE.
“Not the King But always the PRIXNE #BálorClub“
Phoenix replied and mentioned that she had an idea that might indicate forming a new rivalry for Edge.
“I have an idea.”
We will have to wait and see if that comes out as something on WWE shortly.
Edge defeated Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel PPV
Rollins started the match quite ferociously , attacking Edge with a suicide dive, but Edge moved out of the way, making Rollins the first man to hit the Cell wall among the two.
This gave Edge the advantage, but it was not for long as Rollins used a chair to blind Edge in one eye and hit an Unprettier for a near fall. However, the Rated-R-Superstar came back strongly by driving Rollins from the top rope into the cell and through the table.
In the end, Edge picked up the victory via a pinfall by driving Rollins into the chair with the curbstomp.
