Former SmackDown champion could be returning to RAW

Big E could be returning to RAW after a successful run in the blue brand

The New Day are one of the most popular and successful teams in the history of modern WWE. The team once consisted of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

However, they are now only a team of two, comprising Kingston and Woods. In July 2020, Kingston’s injury meant that Big E would go on a solo run in the WWE (SmackDown)

His run turned out to be successful, and following the 2020 Draft in October, Kingston and Woods were drafted to the red brand, while Big E remained in SmackDown. There wasn’t any feud among the team members of New Day prior to the split.

Big E continued his impressive run with an Intercontinental Championship win in December 2020. He held on to the title for an impressive four months before losing to Apollo Crews in a Nigerian Drum Fight.

The last time Big E won an Intercontinental Title, he was Big E Langston, back in 2013.

His move to WWE RAW doesn’t mean that he would once again become a part of the new day. Sources claim that he would once again continue his solo run, just like he did on WWE SmackDown.

The 2021 WWE draft will be held on the 30th of August for RAW and the 3rd of September for SmackDown.
