Take a look at what Big E had to say after meeting Daniel Cormier
WWE Champion Big E met up with UFC legend Daniel Cormier in Chicago. Big E later took to Twitter to react to meeting up with Cormier where he said:
“Chicago, you’ve been lovely. (As an unabashed MMA & @dc_mma mark, this was way too cool.)”
Cormier is one of the biggest names to have competed in the UFC and currently is on the commentary team of the UFC. Cormier also shared a video of him with the WWE Champion where he said:
“In chicago for @MonsterEnergy and I ran into the champ @WWEBigE !!!! He is finally the @WWE champion and no one deserves it more. Congratulations my friend! #newday#wwechamp”
Cormier can be seen speaking very highly of Big E and even congratulated him on winning the WWE Championship. Both Cormier and Big E were in Chicago for a Monster Energy event where they met up and were certainly overwhelmed by doing so.
Who will Big E face next for the WWE Championship?
Big E is set to face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship next. WWE has recently announced that the title match will take place at the Crown Jewel PPV on October 21st. This will also mark his second title defense.
Big E won the WWE Championship after cashing his Money in the Bank contract on Bobby Lashley. Although McIntyre has been drafted to SmackDown, the draft will officially go into effect after the Crown Jewel PPV. From the looks of it as of now it is very unlikely that McIntyre will win the WWE Championship because of his move to SmackDown which will be in effect after the PPV.
