Brock Lesnar was an indomitable force during his heydays in the WWE
The very presence of Brock Lesnar inside the ring sends shudders down the spines of many.
‘The Beast Incarnate’ has won the WWE championship multiple times, and in fact, still holds the record for being the youngest ever to win the WWE Championship. He had won the title when he was just 25, back in 2002, just 5 months into his WWE debut.
He was successful in other sports as well. He tried his hand at the NFL for a couple of years. Lesnar proved that a WWE professional could be successful (in real fighting) in MMA as well, when he won the UFC heavyweight championship in 2008.
Had it not been for diverticulitis, his career in UFC would have lasted longer.
Coming back to WWE; Lesnar hasn’t featured in the promotion since his title fight loss against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 in March 2020.
Reports of Lesnar returning to the WWE have been rife of late. And more recently, in the recent episode of The Wrestling Inc. Daily, iconic pro-wrestling journalist Bill Apter addressed the possible return of Brock Lesnar to the WWE.
He didn’t sound convinced about Lesnar’s performance in big matches, as he branded him a “choker”.
Apter was quoted as saying:
“It’s something that will draw very well. I’m talking sports-wise but there are a lot of big matches, I noticed, that Brock chokes. He doesn’t do as well as he should. What’s Paul Heyman going to do? I think that, at this point, Roman Reigns would probably be my focal point. I think Brock would come in and be like, ‘Hey, what do you need this guy for?’ Just a lot of different scenarios could go on.” [Wrestling Inc]
