Billie Kay has struggled to get a new role since the IIconics split but Carmella could save her WWE career

Things could be looking up for WWE star Billie Kay as she tries to team up with someone soon.

The Australian has struggled to find a proper group to work with since WWE decided to split the IIconics.

Peyton Royce has been left to fend on her own too after initially teaming up with Lacey Evans. Kay, for her part, has been reduced to comic relief but she was teaming up with the Riott Squad until recently.

That was an unofficial position it seems and Kay is out looking for some help. She tried getting in with the commentator team on SmackDown and even that was of no use.

However, former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella seems to be keen on helping Kay.

The Australian reached out to Carmella and even handed her a resume. Most stars usually toss the resume away and move on. However, Carmella held onto it and even had a bit of a smile on her face.

Will Billie Kay become the new sommelier for Carmella?

Carmella has been looking for a new partner ever since Reginald, her sommelier, jumped ship and joined Sasha Banks.

That didn’t work out too well for Reginald. He was thrown away by Banks and Bianca Belair, but he has bounced back well.

The former Cirque Du Soleil star is now with Nia Jax and the pair seem inseparable. Jax and Reginald seem to be the new power couple in WWE and that is another story to deal with.

Kay, for her part, is one of the funniest stars in WWE. She is a great wrestler too and hopefully, WWE finds a quality role for her.

Carmella and Kay as a team could be hilarious, and this could be a route for them in the coming weeks.
