Peyton Royce and Billie Kay had to disband after losing on Raw this week

Billie Kay was left broken after having to split up with Peyton Royce after this week’s Raw.

The IIconics faced Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan for a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. However, that didn’t go as planned for the former tag champions. Morgan and Riott got the win, which was a shock for the Aussie pair.

The pair tried their luck later on at Raw Underground too. However, Kay was destroyed by Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

Kay took to Instagram as she posted a long message for her friend. The Aussie claimed she was heartbroken and devastated to not be with her friend.

Kay also claimed that losing Royce was “scary” but she had to move on since this is life. The former champion, however, added that she would support her “icon” forever and was excited for the future:

The end of an IIconic era

This was a shocking development on WWE with the pair being forced to split up. Kay and Royce are known for their work as a tag team and they have done a lot of single wrestling since pairing up.

The Aussies started their journey together in their homeland and continued being a team after coming to the States.

Many WWE stars, like Rhea Ripley, were left heartbroken learning about the pair having to disband. However, this is a chance for each star to showcase their singles abilities. They could end up being one of the top performers in WWE and this is a real challenge for them.

WWE has a history of splitting tag teams up, and it will be interesting to see what plans the promotion has for the Aussies.
