Bobby Lashley lists out a number of WWE wrestlers that he wants to fight, and it includes Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns
The then United States champion Bobby Lashley was speaking recently in an interview on WWE’s The Bump before the Elimination Chamber PPV.
The now-former champion listed out a whole bunch of WWE stars he has on his list to fight next.
This included stars such as Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Big E, Matt Riddle, and more.
Lashley says he does not want a ‘cool fight’, he wants a proper scrap. He said he wants fighters who can take a beating inside the ring.
“I’ve been begging for these guys because I don’t want to just have the tough match, the cool match. I want a fight. I want one of these dudes that will fight… Brock, Roman, Drew, Big E, Keith, Riddle… If I need a title for them to fight me, then I’ll go and take one from one of these other guys.”
Lashley had a long-standing feud with Matt Riddle for the United States championship. This included an array of dominating wins recently which also featured MVP.
Riddle did not look like he would get a hand on the belt before their feud was over. But all that changed when Lashley, Riddle, John Morrison went head to head for the belt.
This week’s Elimination Chamber saw new champions being crowned, and one of them was Riddle.
WWE were actually smart in handling this match to get the result they wanted without making the champion seem weak.
Morrison ate the pinfall from Riddle to snatch the belt from Lashley. It will be interesting to see now if their feud continues or their stories go in a different direction now.
Things opened up on WWE Raw as Lashley and The Miz were working together to get the belt off Drew McIntyre.
Lashley wanted the next shot at The Miz but was made to fight Braun Strowman too. The former MMA star defeated the Monster and will now get his title shot against The Miz next week.
