Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley opens up about facing an old rival at WrestleMania 39 Hollywood.
WrestleMania 39 will be taking place next year in April. Still, it seems like Bobby Lashley has already set his eyes on a particular opponent.
He recently made an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, the former WWE Champion. He made it clear that he wants to face Brock Lesnar on the Grandest Stage of Them all and mentioned that we’re not done.
“If we’re in Hollywood, it’s a big matchup, for me. I’ve always had those really tough challenges going into WrestleMania,” he said. “Of course, this one has to be another big one, me and Brock. We still have a little score to settle. I have a win over him, and then he ended up winning my title back.” (H/T Wrestling Inc.)
Lashley and Lesnar was a dream match for the fans, and it finally came during the WWE Royal Rumble earlier this year. The All-Mighty picked up the victory that night and made it 1-0 against the Beast. But The All-Mighty is not done yet.
The Beast and Lashley faced off once again at Elimination Chamber. Where he suffered a legitimate injury that led him out of the final bout. This saw him lose his title to Brock Lesnar, who eventually won the live event. But since then, they have not shared the ring.
Bobby Lashley will be facing Omos and MVP in a handicap match at Hell in a Cell
The All-Mighty returned for WWE WrestleMania 38 and faced off with the big man Omos and since then has been involved in the same storyline. He will be facing Omos and MVP in a handicap match at Hell in a Cell next weekend.
On the other hand, Lensar lost the WWE Championship to Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 38. Since then, he has not been seen on WWE programming, and there is no date yet revealed about his return.
WrestleMania 39 will be a two-day event which will be taking place on April 1/2 at the SoFi Stadium. It has also been reported that Vince McMahon has already made plans for the show about the top matches.
