Bobby Lashley promises former WWE Champion a title shot if he ever returns

Batista has been out of action for a couple of years but was promised a title shot by champion Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley is one of the current stars in the WWE pandemic era. He wasn’t really heading anywhere with Lana as his wife before MVP came in and formed the Hurt Business.

Lashley then won the United States title before becoming the WWE Champion. He used The Miz to get the title before defending it against Drew McIntyre at Wrestling 37.

While The All Mighty still has some huge plans in the coming meets, he also took some time to meet Batista.

The former WWE star, who is now a movie star, hasn’t wrestled for a couple of years. Batista confirmed that he had retired from the business and had no interest in returning. It makes sense for him to say that given how successful his movie career has been but Lashley had something else up his mind.

The current champion told the former one that a title shot would be available if Batista was to ever return.

Lashley also congratulated The Animal for all of his success, possibly referring to his movie career.

Bobby Lashley has to be wary of Drew McIntyre

Batista returning to WWE or any other wrestling promotion seems highly unlikely. However, that would still be huge news especially if he went up against McIntyre or Lashley.

The All Mighty has done a great job alongside MVP but he has some tough matches coming up. He faces Drew McIntyre on Raw and then has to defend his title at Wrestling Backlash.

The Backlash clash won’t be easy either as it is a triple threat clash. Braun Strowman pushed himself into the match and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top on 17 May.
