Bobby Lashley slams Matt Riddle after another dominant win on WWE RAW

Bobby Lashley comprehensively beat Matt Riddle this week on WWE RAW

Matt Riddle got his wish of taking on Bobby Lashley on Monday Night RAW for the United States Championship.

Riddle earlier tweeted a video of him riding his quad bike in celebration of beating Lashley earlier this month. In that tweet, he asked Lashley for a shot at his United States championship.

Lashley was irked by the comments and replied saying that he would want to hand Riddle a beating. He did say that he didn’t want it to be for the title, but Riddle got his shot anyway this week.

On this week’s WWE RAW, Lashley easily beat Riddle to defend his belt. The Almighty started his attack on The King of Bros even before the bell rang.

His momentum never ceased and he submitted Riddle with no real difficulty to retain his championship.

After the match, Riddle challenged MVP to a match. The fight was evenly balanced until it was stopped by the referee.

Lashley hit Riddle with a spear on ringside and continued to attack him. The win was as dominant as they come and the beating handed by MVP was just added misery for Riddle.

The Real Deal then went on social media after the match to lay salt to injury by rubbing the win in Riddle’s face. He tweeted a photo of him holding the former UFC star in a Full Nelson submission hold.

This feud looks like it has only just begun. If WWE does decide to go ahead with the storyline, then it would be a great rivalry for Riddle to use in elevating his status within the promotion.

Riddle is yet to win a single’s title with WWE and the United States Championship might just be the one that breaks that duck for him.
