Bollywood Boyz speak on how John Cena helped them out with ideas
The Bollywood Boyz are were one of the most exciting duos to watch in the WWE during their time. It’s a shame that they were released by the WWE earlier this year. The Boyz recently joined Christy Olson for an interview where they talked about how none other than John Cena would help them out with ideas and gave regular feedback.
The Boyz then went on to talk about the same on their Twitter page where they said:
“Much love to @JohnCena. He didn’t have too, but he always took time watch the original 205 Live whenever he could. He is always willing to help us with w/ our Bollywood shtick/ideas & iron them out. Half the stuff we did on 205 or social we ran it by Cena. Dude is Bollywood.”
They spoke on how Cena would take his time to watch the 205 show and helped them with feedback and regularly gave them ideas. The former WWE duo also mentioned that half of the stuff they did on the WWE 205 or social was ran by Cena.
Why were the Bollywood Boyz released from WWE?
The duo was signed by the WWE back in 2016 and became a part of the NXT and also 205. After a year they were brought on to the main roster when the started managing Jinder Mahal. They were one of the most exciting pairs in the company. Their energetic and also refreshing Bollywood gimmicks were always liked by the fans.
Unfortunately, the duo was released by the WWE back in June, 2021. It was a part of WWE making budget cuts with releasing wrestlers. As of now the duo act as a free agent.
