Miss Elizabeth is one name being touted as a potential inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame in the near future by Booker T
April is here, which means that WrestleMania 37 is just around the corner. It also means that we are just a few days away from the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
It was not conducted last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but its back now and the tapings for the show have already been done.
Not just that, but fans already know 5 superstars who are confirmed to be inducted in the Class of 2021.
Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Kane, The Great Khali, and Rob Van Dam are already confirmed to be inducted in the ceremony as part of this year’s batch of inductees.
The inductees from the class of 2020 are nWo (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman), The Bella Twins, The British Bulldog, JBL, and Jushin Thunder Liger.
And Booker T was talking about one more name that he thinks deserves to be in the mix as he discussed Miss Elizabeth’s potential induction into the WWE Hall of Fame on his podcast.
“[Miss] Elizabeth definitely deserves her spot inside the Hall of Fame. And I was just talking about last week was, talking about Eric Bischoff, I said I think about wrestlers; and Elizabeth, of course, she wasn’t a wrestler, but of course what she gave to the biz and the footprint that she left, is definitely something that is going to be remembered for many many years, I say it all the time.”
King Booker then credited Miss Elizabeth and ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage for serving as the inspiration for his own WWE character of Booker T and that of Queen Sharmell.
“I don’t think there would have been a King Booker and a Queen Sharmell if it wasn’t for Macho Man Randy Savage and the lovely Miss Elizabeth. So I think she deserves a spot inside the Hall of Fame. Hopefully, she’ll get there.”
It might not be in 2021, but surely Miss Elizabeth would get a consideration for the award in the coming years. She passed away in 2003 but left an everlasting legacy in WWE because of her pioneering work in the women’s division.
