Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon has been booked for WWE WrestleMania 37 and this has been making the news for the wrong reasons
Shane McMahon is out of excuses. He was scheduled to take on Braun Strowman at WWE Fastlane 2021 but he cited an injury as a reason for backing out, and the fight did not happen.
And that fight was earlier booked for WrestleMania 37. There are even rumours of the two being involved in a stunt off the pirate ship in the Raymond James Stadium.
But that aside, the feud has been seen as a lose-lose by many fans. McMahon is really the underdog and Strowman winning would be the most obvious result.
And if the former wins, then the credibility of the ‘Monster Among Men’ character as well all of his opponents that he ran over in the past would be in jeopardy.
However, Booker T thinks different. He actually sees this as a chance for Strowman to make this event a memorable one for him; something which he does not have a lot of during his time in WWE. And he was speaking about this on his podcast earlier this week.
Booker T thinks Shane McMahon is the perfect match for Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 37
This, according to Booker T, is because of his opponent, Shane McMahon, who he thinks can bring something out of Strowman that nobody else has managed to in the past.
“Shane is trying to do something with Braun Strowman. Perhaps that no one else has, and that’s get something out of him that no one else has gotten out of Braun Strowman. How many of them do you really remember, and say ‘man, remember that Braun Strowman match against such and such’?… You can’t really think of a moment that Braun Strowman has really had… as a wrestler; having that memorable, that match, that ‘man, was over the top’.”
And in the biggest compliment, he could have paid to McMahon, Booker stated that he has that capability to make Strowman shine like no one else on the roster can, just because of how his perspective of the match would be.
“Take Braun Strowman to a place that neither one of the boys on the roster can take him. Just because Shane maybe looking at it from a totally different perspective, Shakespeare-wise, that nobody else is gonna be looking at it.”
So maybe there is something to look forward to in this match, and Booker T is right to point out that this is one match that has the potential to give Strowman his own iconic WWE moment.
