Former World Heavyweight champion Booker T gives the idea of a few more names for the WWE Hall of Fame
Booker T recently made his appearance on the recent Hall of Fame podcast, where he looked ahead to the Hall of Fame ceremony to be conducted before WrestleMania. WWE legend Undertaker was announced for this year’s inductee.
Former Champion believes that two to three more names should also be inducted at the Hall of Fame. He mentioned that one possible name is Doink The Clown as one of the inductees this year.
“I’m not against that one bit,” Booker T said on Doink being inducted. “Matt Borne in himself was a hell of a worker and had a hell of a career, as well as Doink The Clown, it’s iconic. The original Doink The Clown, I loved it. So yeah, I would definitely give him the nod.” (h/t Wrestling Inc)
T spoke about another name for the inductee of Hall of Fame, Shane McMahon. Booker believes that he is worthy of induction, and there have been certain moments when Shane did some fantastic wrestling business. He also mentioned that Shane has got a lot of Hall of Fame moments.
“I think so. I think Shane can be recognized as an in-ring performer as far as what he contributed to the business. Some of the feats that Shane McMahon has pulled off,” he said. “Just go back to talking about Kurt Angle and that over-the-top suplex through the glass. That one right there is something that totally sticks out in my mind. As well as him jumping off the train, that one totally sticks out in my head, as well as off the cage. The guy has got Hall Of Fame moments.”
Shane O’mac was reportedly let go by the company due to some backstage heat following the Royal Rumble, which turned out to be a disaster. However, Booker T believes that Shane was definitely one of the boys during his wrestling time.
