Braun Strowman in confident mood after response to facing AEW star Wardlow
Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has responded on Twitter after a possible clash with AEW star Wardlow was questioned by a fan.
Strowman took to social media to talk about how he is itching to get back in the ring. A fan then confidently spoke about facing Wardlow.
“Everyone thinks they do still they stand across the ring from me.”
Strowman has been out of action ever since his release from WWE. He was released after the company suffered budget cuts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, he has gone on to get himself in the best shape ahead of his next move.
Wardlow, meanwhile, has been an important part of The Pinnacle with MJF. His presence has been seen in single and tag matches as he dominates his opponents.
A match between Strowman and Wardlow would be a heavyweight clash, but with Strowman’s repertoire it will be interesting to see who comes out a winner.
‘The Monster Among Men’ has been out of action since 2nd June alongside Ruby Riott, Lana and Aleister Black. Black appeared this week on AEW, in a shock move which stunned the wrestling community.
Strowman will not be allowed to join for 2 months as he is serving his no-compete clause. Earning close to a million a year, he was one of the highest earners in the WWE. His signing will be a coup for whichever promotion he moves to, with one of the impressive resumes in wrestling.
He is a former Universal Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and Raw Tag Team Champion in WWE. Strowman is also a former Money in the Bank and Greatest Royal Rumble winner.
