Braun Strowman, an integral part of the WWE over the course of the years has been a victim of the latest WWE release
Just several hours ago, there was news that the WWE was planning to release some big names.
The news was initially reported by Fightful Select, and it was learnt that the names wouldn’t be revealed until those concerned are informed about the same, personally.
More recently, the names have been let out, with WWE big names Braun Strowman and Aleister Black among 6 superstars to have been released by the promotion.
The other names who have parted ways are Lana, Ruby Riott, Buddy Murphy and Santana Garrett.
Strowman’s release will come as a shock to a legion of his fans. Only recently did the ‘Monster Among Men’ challenge for the WWE title against Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash.
As for Black, he only returned from a six-month absence, on the 23rd of April. His character was given a new mysterious dimension, with vignettes promoting the same. Another shocking release!
What next for the released stars
Strowman would be gutted for sure, but that wouldn’t prevent him from landing opportunities in different promotions. He has got the aura and charisma to shine anywhere goes.
The AEW might probably welcome him with both hands. There were also rumors of Strowman joining the AEW doing the rounds in 2020.
Only recently did Aleister Black show his insane body transformation earning widespread praise and accolades. He will now have to hunt for another promotion, but he has got age and vigour on his side.
