Braun Strowman explains why Drew McIntyre should be on Raw’s Survivor Series team

Braun Strowman became the fourth member of the Raw Survivor Series team and batted for Drew McIntyre to join too

WWE Raw had an action-packed show with Braun Strowman booking his ticket for Survivor Series. The Monster among men defeated Keith Lee and Sheamus in a triple threat match to seal his place in the PPV.

That means four spots are booked for the Raw Survivor Series men’s team. AJ Styles seems to be the leader of the side and the hunt is on for the fifth member.

While there is some friction between the current four-man team with Sheamus hitting Strowman with a Brogue Kick, things between the Monster and Lee seem to be fine.

The fifth man should be interesting for the side but Strowman backed former WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, to get the job done.

He was speaking on Raw Talk to Charly Caruso and R-Truth and explained why McIntyre should be in the side:

“When he goes out there he has got the same mindset and mentality as I do, he wants to win. I would love to have Drew McIntyre step up and take the fifth spot on team Raw.”

Truth and Caruso agreed that this would be a good team, and it will be interesting to see who the final member of team Raw is.

McIntyre chasing gold

The Scottish Psychopath, for his part, is doing all that he can to reclaim his WWE title. He lost it to Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell but McIntyre attacked the Viper at the start of this week’s Raw.

Orton repaid that with an RKO at the end but there was more draw as Bray Wyatt’s laughter closed out the show.

McIntyre might not be able to win the title until after Survivor Series as Orton should take on Roman Reigns in a brand champion vs brand champion clash.

Raw already has a packed team with Styles, Lee, Sheamus and Strowman. However, the fifth member could be a surprise later on.
