Braun Strowman merchandise still being sold on WWE website
Former WWE Champion Braun Strowman has two released new merchandise items on the WWE Shop, after his release from the company.
Strowman was released from his contract on June 2, along with the likes of Aleister Black and Ruby Riott. He has been active on social media about his fitness regime, but has not shared news about his return.
He will be serving a 90-day no compete clause, which prevents him from joining any promotion. The two T-shirts are a $27.99 “Monsters Are Real” muscle t-shirt and a $27.99 “Monsters Are Real” tank top.
With the return of merchandising, it could also signal a possible return for Strowman who could follow in the steps of Samoa Joe. Joe was released from the company, but made his return two months later on NXT.
Strowman’s release came despite being booked in a Triple Threat match with Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley. He was on a meteoric rise ever since his new gimmick was adopted. Strowman created new highs for himself in his time on RAW and will continue to play his trade in the coming future.
Will Braun Strowman move to AEW?
Strowman is the hottest property in the wrestling business now, with him earning a salary close to $1 million a year. He will undoubtedly be on the radar of Tony Khan, who has swooped for former WWE Superstars in the last two years.
With Strowman’s resume, it is certain that he will bring a lot of dynamism and excitement to AEW. With Malakai Black debuting in AEW, Strowman could follow suit and join after the completion of his clause.
The Monster Among Men is a one-time Universal Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, and a two-time Raw Tag Team Champion (with Nicholas and Seth Rollins).
