Braun Strowman could have paid tribute to Andre the Giant with this latest beer can photo

WWF Hall of Famer Andre the Giant was an incredible wrestler, but an even more prolific beer drinker.

His legacy as both continues to live on, and we may have seen a little tribute to it by one of the most famous WWE superstars, Braun Strowman.

Legend has it that Andre could chug over 100 cans of beer in a normal sitting. The fact that it has been confirmed by people around him makes it sound all the more impressive.

Andre the Giant is a WWE Hall of Famer.

While that may sound ridiculous to an average man, it helps to know that Andre was not normal, but stupefyingly incredible.

‘The Fabulous Moolah’ wrote in her memoir that Andre once drank 127 cans of beer and passed out in the lobby of a hotel. The staff couldn’t move the 7’4″ giant and had to leave him there till he woke.

Dusty Rhodes confirmed that Andre once downed 156 cans of beer (470ml) of beer. If we start listing out tales of his boozy glory, we would probably spend all day here.

Strowman (Adam Scherr) posted a photo on his Instagram with a can of Bud Lite. While it may seem like a miniature, it’s very much a normal-sized can you can find not too far out from your home.

The comment section was littered with fans saying that the photo gave off Andre the Giant vibes; and we do not disagree.

The photo reminds us of a similar picture of Andre the Giant that went viral recently. In that photo, the French wrestling icon is seen holding a Molson can of beer.

Both photos highlight the giant size of the wrestler’s hand, and you would not be wrong to think that Strowman did intend to make a little tribute to the late WWF legend.

Strowman recently mentioned his fight with depression and alcohol problems, and seems to have his alcohol intake in control. He still looks more ripped than ever while also finding the time to chug an occasional beer can.
