Braun Strowman revealed that he paralyzed his left leg after a serious injury in 2015

Speaking on RAW Talk this Monday, WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has opened up on how a serious back injury left him paralyzed back in 2015.

Strowman has been with WWE since 2013 and made his main roster debut in 2015 as part of The Wyatt Family. Since then, ‘The Monster Among Men’ has had various ups and downs in his career.

Braun Strowman is a former WWE Universal Champion (WWE)

Around this time last year, Strowman was the WWE Universal Champion after he had defeated Goldberg at WrestleMania 36. Heading into this year’s “Showcase of the Immortals”, Strowman finds himself embroiled in a feud with Shane McMahon.

It has been a major step down for Strowman but he seems intent to making the most of whatever opportunity that comes his way, as he built up his fight against Shane O’Mac on RAW Talk this Monday.

Speaking on the episode, “The Monster Among Men” went on to call out McMahon for being a bully. He insisted that it was Shane who was responsible for him getting suspended last November, while adding he had done nothing to deserve this treatment.

Strowman then continued to build upon the feud, insisting that it was to show the WWE Universe that anybody can overcome anything by believing in oneself. He added that he was doing it for the millions of the fans that were out there supporting him and cheering for him.

After that, Strowman opened up on the back injury that nearly ended his career. The real-life Adam Scherr recalled how he was left paralyzed in his left leg and gave a lot of credit to WWE and its medical team for taking care of him through that period.

Strowman recalled that WWE hired the best doctor in the country to get his surgery done, following which he was able to walk again and return to the ring.

Strowman will face off against Shane McMahon in a steel cage match – a stipulation that he himself selected, because he has been waiting to get his hands on his rival.

The buildup to the feud may not have been to everyone’s taste but we could be certainly in for some big bumps from Shane. And, obviously, credit to Strowman, for having come through such ordeals and made it big on WWE.
