Braun Strowman ripped the steel cage at WWE WresleMania certainly made the news

Braun Strowman came into this clash with a cloud over his head. The former WWE Universal Champion got involved in this crazy and absurd storyline of Shane McMahon calling him dumb and stupid.

WWE went berserk with all these comments as Strowman was also slimed during a Raw episode. This led to the inevitable WrestleMania match, and frankly, not many were feeling it.

Shane McMahon had slimed Braun Strowman in a previous episode of Raw (WWE)

However, WWE, as they did last year, got most of the spots right on. Strowman was attacked before the steel cage match to give McMahon the advantage.

McMahon played around with his opponent and even hit his signature coast-to-coast drop kick. It seemed that this was going to be a huge win for the 50+ McMahon, but Strowman had other plans.

McMahon was climbing out of the cage and was on the outside. However, he took some time off to mock his rival. That didn’t work out too well as Strowman ran up and caught hold of his hand.

The Monster then ripped the steel cage and McMahon was in all sorts of trouble.

Strowman is one of the strongest stars in WWE and this was the perfect way to get him over. However, there was more to come.

Shane McMahon creates another WrestleMania moment

Everyone remembers the Undertaker tossing Mankind off the top of the cage a few decades back. However, McMahon also seemed to want his moment.

Strowman wasn’t done with the beating and he tossed the 50+ McMahon from the top of the cage to the mat.

This was a dangerous move but it went on to show that McMahon was ready to put Strowman over.

It certainly worked a bit as Strowman then came down and used his powerslam to pick up a huge win.

Hopefully, this is the end of WWE mocking Strowman for his intellect. This was a great match, despite not having the best build-up, and well, the fans being in the arena certainly helped.
