Braun Strowman made his WWE return this week on SmackDown
This week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw Braun Strowman make his return to the promotion.
The 29th January episode featured a 10-man tag team match. The match initially was between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan but it descended into chaos as it went from a 3-on-3 to a 5-on-5.
In what was a confusing and messy fight, Strowman’s music hit at the end and he made his return, much to the jubilation of the WWE Universe.
He proceeded to beat up everyone he could at ringside, and then took on Cesaro and Sami Zayn inside the ring.
Following the massacre, the Monster Among Men took to his Twitter account to serve a warning to the WWE roster.
Replying to a tweet by WWE announcing his comeback, he wrote that he was back, “and Badder than ever!!!”. He also put the hashtag #NoOnesSafe
His return has also come just in time for the Royal Rumble this weekend. The PPV, scheduled for 31st January, has had a long list of superstars confirmed.
And Strowman may very well be amongst them.
Strowman wasn’t seen on WWE ever since he headbutted WWE official and producer Adam Pearce in the first week of December.
Strowman was indefinitely suspended by the promotion for this act. And as we all know, this is very unlikely to be the real reason behind it.
Rumours surfaced that it was due to a knee injury suffered by him at Survivor Series. Although, nothing was confirmed officially.
Nevertheless, he is back, and looks in better shape than ever. On this week’s SmackDown, he looked fit, strong, and back to his best.
This is certainly good news for the fans as well as the promotion. A star name like him can only add more glitz and glamour to a PPV like Royal Rumble.
Strowman also holds a few Royal Rumble records and could turn out to be a surprise entrant too.
He has been away from WWE for a while. However, he looks in excellent shape now and will be a threat on Sunday.
