Braun Strowman shares interesting update on future

Published by

The update from Braun Strowman comes just days after rumors of the WWE re-signing him in the near future emerged

Hardly three weeks after his WWE Championship match against Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman was released from the promotion, on the 2nd of June 2021.

‘The Monster Among Men’ was shown the door with 5 other wrestlers including Aleister Black getting the axe. It turned out to be one of the most shocking releases in recent times.

Braun Strowman

No sooner did the WWE release Strowman, than talks of where he would be headed to next, began. AEW was rumored to be the most likely destination for the ‘New Face of Destruction’.

He has a non-complete clause that ends on the 31st of August, after which he will become a free agent.

More recently, it was also reported that the WWE might be looking to bring back Strowman. The news, first reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter came after the AEW began securing the signings of several former WWE stars, with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan also in the queue.

Braun Strowman is in a dilemma

Strowman recently took to Twitter to post a GIF of a young George ‘Spanky’ McFarland (now deceased) in deep thinking.

He captioned the post:

“Choices choices choices!!!!!!”

His tweet was met with a plethora of responses, (probably his well-wishers) asking him to head to AEW since the WWE never gave him the respect he deserved.

It is going to be an interesting few months for the Braun Strowman saga.
