Bray Wyatt teases WWE return after referencing the lumberjack match at WrestleMania Backlash
Bray Wyatt finally broke his social media silence earlier this week after WrestleMania Backlash and teased a return to WWE.
His last tweets came more than a month back, with his last WWE appearance being at the RAW after WrestleMania 37. There, he appeared in his cheery Firefly Fun House persona.
Alexa Bliss caused him to lose to Randy Orton at ‘The Show of Shows’ and declared that she did not need him later on. It looked like he was going to have a fresh start on the show.
But he has since not appeared on the show. Some reports cited mental health issues keeping him from making a return, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Nevertheless, it now seems like Wyatt could make his return to WWE soon.
Wyatt tweeted after the now-infamous zombie lumberjacks match asking fans if they missed him. The Fiend’s supernatural character was seldom criticized for its persona.
And maybe this was Wyatt’s way of reminding the fans how better things were when he was on the show and how his character wasn’t all that bad in light of what happened at Backlash.
What was more intriguing that one of WWE’s social media account, @WWEonFOX, replied to Wyatt’s tweet as well.
This certainly makes it likely that he would come back. Maybe, the past few weeks were intentionally left blank for Wyatt so that fans could put his Fiend character behind.
It’s uncertain of how he will be booked once he comes back, though. Alexa Bliss has her own thing going on with Lilly while Randy Orton is seeing success with Matt Riddle as RKBro. It seems like only time will tell what happens with Wyatt on WWE.
