WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart picks other WWE Legend over Shawn Michaels as his Greatest rival
Bret Hart has been one of the greatest superstars in the history of WWE. And it can be clearly said that he has stepped into the ring with some of the most significant competitors as well.
One of the most controversial rivalries of The Hitman was with Shawn Michaels, and the other name which comes to our mind was “Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.
The Hitman has been in the ring with these superstars numerous times in his career. However, Hart recently revealed whom he had a better rivalry with.
Hart has recently claimed that Austin wins the battle by a “hair”. He faced Austin at the WrestleMania 13 PPV in a Submission match. The Hitman recently appeared for an interview with ‘Q on CBC’ where he answered who his better rival was.
He eventually revealed that choosing The Rattlesnake over Heartbreak Kid was a tough decision. However, Hart admitted that it was a tie with Michaels because the performers bring a lot to the table.
Bret Hart and Stone Cold has been involved in one of the greatest matches
On March 23, 1997, the crowd went crazy seeing Bret Hart and Steve Austin at WrestleMania 12. For the first time, the wrestlers who went in as heel and babyface switched their roles after the match was concluded.
Hart went into the match as a babyfaced, and Stone Cold went heel. The WWE Universe cheered for Austin and booed Hart when the game was stopped.
It went down to become one of the best matches in WWE history as both the men gave their best. First, the Hitman put Austin into a sharpshooter. The latter passed out but refused to tap, making him even more special.
