AEW Superstar Britt Baker and Former WWE Divas Champion Paige share mutual respect on Twiter
Former WWE Divas Champion Paige recently took to Twitter and praised the current AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker.
Paige responded to a fan’s question about her opinion of AEW’s D.M.D and revealed that she’s a fan.
“I love @RealBrittBaker big fan.”
Baker was up and ready for a reply as she also took to Twitter and showed mutual respect towards the former WWE Women’s Champion.
“I love @RealPaigeWWE HUGE fan.”
Paige has been away from the WWE due to an injury
WWE Superstar Paige was up and running in her career before a severe neck injury wreaked havoc. The Superstar is still signed to WWE and has been SmackDown’s General Manager but has been away from in-ring action for a long time.
The Anti-Diva retired from the in-ring competition in April 2018. In fact, she had been out of action since 2016 due to injury before returning to Raw in November 2018. However, that return lasted only a month as an injury sustained at a house show saw Paige sidelined again.
Paige’s last match came at a WWE house show on December 27, 2017, when she got injured and never wrestled again. But, after WWE superstar Edge made a comeback at the Royal Rumble 2020 from a similar kind of injury, it gave her the hope to return to the ring again.
