Brock Lesnar is set to take a break after Crown Jewel
The Beast Brock Lesnar shocked everyone when he returned to SummerSlam this year. He was absent from the company for nearly two months before finally making an appearance and going face to face with Roman Reigns.
WWE later announced that Lesnar will be taking on Reigns at the Crown Jewel PPV. While most of the fans expect him to get a win over Reigns the actual storyline could be different. As per Wrestling News, Lesnar will be absent from the WWE again after Crown Jewel PPV and will not be back until the Royal Rumble next year.
“We were told that after Crown Jewel, Lesnar is not scheduled for any more WWE shows this year and the next time he is scheduled to wrestle is during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in St. Louis. The 2022 Royal Rumble is scheduled for Saturday, January 29 at The Dome at America’s Center.”
This could be a pretty big spoiler for the highly anticipated match between Lesnar and The Tribal Chief. If the reports are true then WWE will certainly not make him the champion come Crown Jewel PPV.
Does this mean the end of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar’s rivalry?
While Lesnar is set to take a break from the company fans can be assured that this will not be the end of their rivalry. When Lesnar returns after the Crown Jewel, the feud between him and Reigns will look to continue.
These two are the biggest draws in the company right now and the WWE will certainly look to drain out all the benefits it can from this mega rivalry.
