WWE plan to bring back Brock Lesnar for live shows ahead of return this year
Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is set to return this year in 2021, after the completion of SummerSlam in August this year, according to sources.
Andrew Zarian discussed the possibility of the timeline of Lesnar’s return on Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, saying:
“They wanted Brock. For whatever reason, the plan didn’t work out. I believe it was creative-wise, it just wasn’t fitting. Financially, they want Brock to commit to live shows. They are working it out, it’s gonna happen. It’s not that it’s not gonna happen, it’s gonna happen unless something goes tremendously terrible, which I don’t think it will. I think we’re gonna see Brock, I just don’t think he’s needed for SummerSlam if they have this planned out already.”
Lesnar has been missing since his loss to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. There were plans to bring him at SummerSlam, but those seem to be unlikely at this point.
Who will Brock Lesnar return to face in WWE?
Lesnar is one of the most elite wrestlers in the company’s history. He has always been around the Championship scene, winning it on several occasions. Since then, he has faced legends like Goldberg and The Undertaker.
‘The Beast Incarnate‘ will get a shot at WWE Champion Bobby Lashley or WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The two champions are on opposite brands but are in an impressive phase in their title reign.
Lesnar will look to return as soon as he can to win back the gold which he lost last year.
