Brock Lesnar returns to in-ring action after indefinite suspension ends
The Beast Incarnate returned to this week’s Friday Night SmackDown. WWE revealed some of the initial plans for Brock Lesnar.
Last week, Kayla Braxton announced that Lesnar’s suspension had been lifted and would make his return to the show. Lesnar was suspended by Adam Pearce on October 22 after he unleashed attacks on Roman Reigns, The Usos, and other crew members after losing at the Crown Jewel. He also delivered as F5 to Adam Pearce and ripped his pants off.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the initial plan for Lesnar’s suspension storyline was for him to purchase a ticket t next week’s SmackDown show at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California. But instead of the Braxton made the announcement of his return soon after Sami Zayn won the battle royal to become the new no.1 contender for Universal Championship.
It is being reported that the company is not planning to wrestle Lesnar again until The Royal Rumble 2022 pay-per-view on January 29 in St. Louis, Missouri, and it has been speculated a lot that the Beast will go abasing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38 on April 2-3 at AT&T stadium.
It is to know that Lesnar and Reigns have already headlined two WrestleMania main events together in 2015 and 2018. Both the superstars have been at the top for a long time now, and it would be a cherry on the cake for the fans to see Lensar taking on The Tribal Chief at WrestleMania.
