Former WWE star Buddy Murphy was not impressed with storyline over Cleopatra’s Egg
The biggest talking point coming over the past few days in the WWE have been not about the matches or superstars but it’s all about WWE owner Vince McMahon and Cleopatra’s Golden Egg.
Fans even now WWE stars have started finding this take as the most hilarious and amusing at the same time.
Former WWE Superstar Buddy Murphy also known as Buddy Matthews took to Twitter to convey his thoughts on last night’s show with a very simple tweet:
The Cleopatra Golden Egg and WWE
WWE reportedly tied-up with Netflix’s Red Notice film for the Survivor Series, which stars Dwayne Johnson famously known as The Rock. Red Notice served as the presenting sponsor for Survivor Series PPV. The PPV featured Vince in segments with Cleopatra’s $100 million golden egg, which was used in the movie as well.
Vince also said that this egg was personally gifted to him by the People’s Champ. However, later the egg was stolen. And since then storyline in WWE has been all about the Cleopatra’s Egg.
McMahon then ordered his subordinates Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville to find the egg before the end of RAW on Monday.
According to a report – WWE added the egg storyline to promote The Rock’s Red Notice film. The paid partnership between WWE and the Netflix film will reportedly earn WWE a heft amount of payday.
Austin Theory stole Cleopatra’s Egg
WWE superstar Austin Theory was the culprit who stole Vince McMahon’s golden egg. Later on Monday night Austin himself accepted the fact to Vince that he has stolen the egg because he was keen to have a selfie with it.
However, he got afraid of the security and took the prized asset to his hotel room. Despite doing the mischief, Austin earned a match at the title shot against Big E later in the day. However, in the end he lost the match.
