Drew McIntyre has the chance to win the WWE title in front of fans at WrestleMania 37 against Bobby Lashley and shared his prediction

Drew McIntyre was robbed of his WrestleMania moment last year but his prediction for the match against Bobby Lashley could set the stage for something special.

The Scot defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 and won the title. However, this wasn’t in front of the fans due to Covid-19 restrictions.

This year’s WrestleMania will be in front of the fans and McIntyre faces Lashley. The All Mighty beat The Miz to win the title but he initially cost McIntyre the cold by attacking the then champ at Elimination Chamber.

Lashley vs McIntyre is all set to be a cracker at WrestleMania 37 and the Scot shared his prediction for how this clash would go.

McIntyre was speaking to Bleacher Report and brought up how WWE loved Heavyweights and the pairing of the Scot and Lashley would serve a treat at Mania:

“It’s two classic heavyweights going to have a classic heavyweight contest in the main event of WrestleMania…WWE was built on two heavyweights going out. Just slugging it out and sitting in holds a lot of the time.

“We’re two guys that are gonna go out there and lay it in, but we’re gonna have an entertaining, athletic contest at the same time. It’s so cool we have a modern heavyweight contest in the main event of WrestleMania.”

Time for Drew McIntyre to get his WrestleMania moment?

McIntyre certainly would love to get his title back in front of the fans. However, Lashley became only the third African-American WWE star to win the top title.

The All Mighty has been incredible since joining the Hurt Business and has spoken about facing Brock Lesnar too.

That is a fight that many want to see in WWE, especially due to both stars being part of the MMA circuit.

Lashley recently was asked about Lesnar again and The All Mighty was willing to face The Beast anywhere and any time.

Lesnar hasn’t been seen since losing the title to McIntyre a year back. However, Lesnar is a huge star for WWE and his return would be one big talking point.
