Bully Ray and Velvet Sky confirm split via Twitter
Velvet Sky and WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray have officially broken up as they have confirmed their split on the social media platform on Monday.
An ex-couple each put out a similar message that said it was a mutual decision and no further public comments will be made. Here is what Sky wrote on her Twitter:
“.@bullyray5150 & I have decided to part ways amicably. There’s no animosity and we will always be cool, and we wish each other well in life. This will be the only public comment we make on the matter.“
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray also gave out the same statement from his account.
The former couple started dating in 2016 and have been together since then. They were once engaged to be married. Velvet Sky currently works for NWA as a colour commentator. She is a former two-time TNA Women’s Knockout Champion and is a former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion.
Meanwhile, Bully Ray trains wrestlers at his Team 3D Academy and is a co-host on SiriusXM’s Busted Open. In April last year, Ray left Ring of Honor after his contract expired.
For their fans and well-wishers, it’s surely terrible news and we can only wish them good luck for the future.

Bubba Ray Dudley once dated two-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke Hogan. During their time together in TNA, the former couple married as part of an on-screen storyline. In real life, Brooke thought Bubba was “super nice and funny and really cool,” so she agreed to go on a date with him.
Earlier this year, Brooke revealed that she stopped dating him when she found out he was also dating fellow TNA star Velvet Sky. She told Hollywood Raw
“So we went on a couple of dates and I think he was still dating Velvet Sky, I’m not really sure. So I did not know that at the time, but I definitely did not get the… I think the vibes… I put two and two together and I was like, ‘Hmm, I’m just going to remove myself from the situation right now.”
