Corey Graves grabbed his hands on the WWE 24/7 championship for the first time on the November 8 episode of Monday Night Raw
The November 8 episode of Monday Night Raw was absolute madness. The 24/7 championship switched hands a plethora of times before ultimately going back to the titleholder himself.
Reggie (24/7 Champion when the episode began) took on Drake Maverick with his 24/7 title on the line.
With a bit of distraction from other superstars, Maverick ended up winning the title, ending Reggie’s reign as the longest-reigning 24/7 champion.
No sooner did Maverick win than he was stunned by Tozawa who, from behind rolled him up to become the champion.
That was when WWE Announcer Corey Graves rolled Tozawa up to become the champion. This was his first belt in 7 years – NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Adrian Neville, back in 2014.
However, Graves reign was extremely short-lived when fellow announcer Byron Saxton rolled him up to become the champion.
Ultimately it ended up in Reggie’s hands after Maverick rolled up Saxton before being pinned by Reggie.
A wild night indeed.
Carmella was ecstatic after Corey Graves became the champ
Corey Graves’ fiancee Carmella’s joy knew no bounds after her partner got his hands on the title.
Taking to Twitter, Carmella reacted with several heart-eyed emojis to the Tweet of Graves’ title win.
However, her joy was unfortunately short-lived.
It is worth noting that Carmella and Graves got engaged recently.
