Carmella is taking extra precautions for Money in the Bank
Carmella took to Twitter to jokingly show off her extra costume ahead of the Money in the Bank pay-per-view which also includes Nia Jax.
Jax recently made the headlines for the wrong reasons after a move on Kairi Sane. However, Jax made her intentions clear and has been in tremendous form ahead of the PPV.
Carmella took on Mandy Rose for the last spot in the match. Rose has been involved in the feud with Dolph Ziggler and Otis. However, it was Sonya Deville that cost Rose the match.
Rose controlled most of the match but Deville distracted her, allowing Carmella to get the win.
The finalized line-up for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match looks like this: Nia Jax, Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, and Carmella.
Carmella won the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match in 2018. It was the first women’s Money in the Bank ladder match in WWE history and not short of controversy.
James Ellsworth climbed the ladder, unhooked the briefcase and dropped it into Carmella’s arms.
Daniel Bryan, who was the SmackDown general manager, was forced to make a decision regarding the legality of her win.
He decided that due to the unprecedented manner in which she won, a change needed to be made. Carmella was stripped of the Money in the Bank contract.
In addition to that, Bryan banned Ellsworth from ringside in an effort to ensure there would be no similar shenanigans in the rematch.
Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Tamina and Natalya all asked Bryan for a second chance due to the circumstances surrounding Carmella’s win, and they looked to make the most of it.
Many questioned if Carmella was capable of getting the job done on her own. However, she silenced her critics by winning the match again.
