WWE Superstar Carmella wasn’t happy when a fan questioned her wrestling abilities
Carmella has been an integral part of the WWE since her main roster debut in 2016. The self-proclaimed “The Most Beautiful Woman in All of WWE” has served both looks and skills in the promotion over the years.
However, one fan on Twitter wasn’t particularly impressed with Carmella and her wrestling abilities.
It all started when Carmella took a dig at Liv Morgan, accusing Morgan of being a ‘nosy parker’, while she (Carmella) minded her own business.
This tweet of Carmella didn’t sit well with a fan named Rachel Byrne. Byrne hit back at Carmella pointing out that she only had looks and no wrestling abilities, referencing the Ruthless Aggression era when female wrestlers were basically eye candies.
The fan’s tweet read:
“Me [Carmella]: I’m bringing the back the divas division from 15 years ago. looks over wrestling ability. WWE universe: nobody wants this. We want proper wrestling not bra and panties matches.”
Carmella hits back at the fan with an elaborate message
Carmella clapped back at the fan who tried to demean her. She claimed that looks and skills do go hand in hand and there was nothing wrong in “doing both.”
Carmella’s tweet read:
“HAHAHA! That’s where you’re wrong, sweetie. I have the looks AND the talent. I’m the total package. I don’t get why people like you & the rest of the WWE Universe makes it seem like we can only fit into one box. I love looking good & I can go in the ring. It’s ok to do both.”
Carmella will face Bianca Belair in the next episode of SmackDown for the WWE Women’s SmackDown title. Originally it was Bayley who was supposed to face Belair, but an injury to the ‘Role Model’ resulted in Carmella stepping in.
