WWE Superstar Carmella unhappy with Reginald pairing on SmackDown
WWE SmackDown Carmella claims she was against the pairing up with Reginald who was identified as the new sommelier of the returning star.
It is also revealed that she had asked WWE for a bodyguard, but that plan changed into a sommelier in the form of Reginald.
Speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, she says: (h/t Wrestling Edge)
“I wanted to have a bodyguard, and they were like, ‘We’ll get there, and then one day I show up, and I have a sommelier. I’m like, ‘What is happening? I didn’t pitch for a sommelier, but let’s do it.’ We thought it was a one-time thing, and he ended up sticking around, and now he’s on RAW.”
Reginald has now featured on both WWE Raw and SmackDown in the last few months. He is soon hopeful to make his in-ring return, having a circus background at Cirque de Soleil. He was eventually fired by Carmella and moved to RAW teaming with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
Reginald has been with former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler since their loss to Natalya and Tamina. The duo then started a storyline feud with Alexa Bliss, who had spooky segments before a match was booked at Hell in a Cell.
Baszler was defeated by Bliss at Hell in a Cell after a grueling match on Sunday. The pair fought until Bliss landed the Twisted Bliss on her to win her first match in a while.
Bliss, during her match against Jax on RAW, hypnotised Reginald and also attempted to slap Jax before he regained his consciousness. Reginald is an integral entity to the RAW women’s roster at this point. He is going to be a mainstay for the time being, as his stock continues to rise.
