WWE star Corey Graves seems to be a fan of Genndy Tartakovsky
Corey Graves is known for his hard-hitting commentary and podcasts in WWE. He did start his career as a wrestler but moving to the commentator’s table has been a pretty good career move for him.
He is far away from the actual fights in the ring and can work on a lot of his other interests. Graves has been part of several TV shows during his time with WWE, and he shared one cartoon which he is a fan of now.
Graves tweeted that he had woken up early today and watched something crazy. However, he fell in love with Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, which is the legendary animator’s latest show.
Woke up way too early.
Turned on my TV to find a Caveman Frankenstein fighting a Murder Gorilla.
And THAT is how Genndy Tartakovsky’s #Primal became my new favorite cartoon. 🦖🦍💀@adultswim

Primal basically focuses on one character, a caveman in prehistoric times, and a Tyrannosaurus Rex and how the pair survive in a harsh world.
Only one season of Primal has been released so far, and it has received a lot of critical acclaim.
A legend in the animation industry
Primal is mostly shown on Adult Swim, a separate block of Cartoon Network, but Graves has certainly hit a gold mine in terms of animated content.
Tartakovsky has created some of Cartoon Network’s greatest animated shows with the likes of Dexter’s Laboratory and Samurai Jack.
The Russian-American has also worked on other great shows such as Batman: The Animated Series, 2 Stupid Dogs, Cow and Chicken and The Powerpuff Girls.
Samurai Jack is the best option for Graves as it also is a little dark and more action-oriented. Tartakovsky also produced a final season which was more adult oriented.
Graves hasn’t been seen behind the commentary desk in recent months. However, he is still doing a great job with his After The Bell podcast.
