Cesaro talks about his finisher Neutralizer
The Swizz Superman was recently on Out of Character with Ryan Satin where he was asked how did he come up with the name “The Neutralizer.” Which happens to be his finishing move. Cesaro said:
“Switzerland is neutral. If you neutralize somebody, you put them out of commission. It’s a wonderful pun. It’s a wonderful homage to my home country. I would like to take credit for it, but there may have been somebody else that said I should use it, and I said, ‘Ok, I’ll do it.’
“When I came through the ranks, it was one of those, ‘Can you hit your finisher on anybody? Even the Big Show?’ I was like, Let me show you. I wanted to have something that was super effective, I could do to everybody. What is usually scary is people are super sweaty or they slip or something like that, but there’s nobody that I was like, ‘That was a terrible neutralizer.’ It’s always fun to do it to Big Show, Khali, or Mark Henry, somebody that’s really big that’s a challenge.”
Cesaro’s finishing move definitely has a very interesting story behind it. Cesaro also has been one of the best in-ring performers in the WWE. But it is hard to understand that why is he so underrated. He has shown great skill and even WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley once said that he would personally do anything to get Vince McMahon give a chance to Cesaro.
Why is Cesaro absent from the WWE?
Cesaro is currently not performing in the WWE as he is currently suffering from a cervical strain. This injury was sustained after his match with Seth Rollins on the SmackDown of September 3rd. Rollins also attacked Cesaro with a chair repeatedly causing this injury.
It seems like it is a storyline injury and his return is currently undecided. The fans will like to see the Swiss Superman get back to action as soon as possible.
