WWE broke up Heavy Machinery on day one of the 2020 Draft
While the New Day being split up on day 1 of the WWE 2020 Draft got a lot of people talking, Heavy Machinery also faced the same fate later in the day.
A supplemental draft was held on Talking Smack, and Tucker was on the chopping block. He was drafted onto Raw while his teammate Otis remained on SmackDown.
WWE did a number of Otis as he was split with Mandy Rose, his girlfriend, a while back and now he will be without his tag team partner.
Chad Gable, who is close to both Otis and Tucker, posted an emotional tweet and believed things would get back to normal soon:
Otis and Tucker have been a tag team right from their NXT days and this was another move from WWE which broke up an established tag team.
Otis and Tucker both posted emotional messages too, and it is to be seen what happens next with Tucker.
Otis seems set to battle the Miz and John Morrison as the heels try to steal his Money in the Bank contract.
They have tried to do so in recent weeks but have failed. Otis needs to watch his back now since there is no Rose or Tucker to help him out.
Rose too was hurt by the split of Heavy Machinery, and she let a few emojis do the talking for her:
WWE has made it a bit of a habit to break up teams for no reason whatsoever. However, they also have a habit of forming teams that don’t make a lot of sense.
Rose and Dana Brooke is one example as many believed God’s greatest creation was ready for a singles run.
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler were also paired while the IIconics were split up. However, splitting up the New Day was big and this has opened up a lot of possibilities for the two brands and their stars.
