The Four Horsewomen featured Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Bayley
In an interview with Metro UK, WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair revealed the ‘unspoken bond’ between the company’s Four Horsewomen.
The group name is homage to The Four Horsewomen of the UFC and The Four Horsemen, which consisted of Ric Flair, father of Charlotte. The group formed during their time on WWE NXT and the original four all came up to the main roster together.
Despite having a real life falling out with Becky Lynch, Flair also spoke about how she, Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley will always share a bond, even if it goes without saying.
The Smackdown Champion said:
“It’s an unspoken bond. Our careers have all taken different turns and ended up in different sports at different times. The level of respect is always there, no matter what.”
“You just don’t… maybe we should talk about it more, but we all know how we feel about each other, what we did and what it took and how hard we worked to get where we are.”
The Charlotte Flair-Becky Lynch feud
In an interview last week, Lynch stated that she does not trust Flair, and they are no longer best friends. The tiff between the duo started from a title exchange on SmackDown. In an attempt to hand her title to Becky Lynch, Flair accidentally dropped the title, something that was not planned.
Though Flair and Lynch exchanged angry words backstage, nothing got physical. Lynch and Flair are set to go one on one at Survivor Series where they will most likely go face to face again for the build to that match.
