Charlotte Flair had been receiving a lot of hate regarding her recent appearances in WWE
WWE star Charlotte Flair has been doing a lot of work on all three brands. The Queen was the former NXT Champion and lost the title to Io Shirai.
However, she was almost pulling off triple duty by appearing on Raw and SmackDown too. Charlotte was also in the running for the Raw Women’s title, but just missed out on challenging Asuka recently.
This has seen many WWE fans call out the company and the Queen for doing so much work. Many have even suggested the only reason she gets such a push is that she is the daughter of wrestling legend Ric Flair.
While Charlotte is one of the best to have ever graced the ring, her name does carry a lot of weight. The Queen, however, took a subtle dig at her critics and brought out her father again.
One fan tweeted that the Charlotte “hate” was weird, and the Queen responded hilariously:
“I don’t get it either. My dad says I’m charming.”
What’s next for Charlotte?
The Queen losing the NXT title to Shirai did come as a bit of a surprise. However, the triple threat clash between Charlotte, Shirai and Rhea Ripley was an excellent match.
Charlotte should be in the running for one of the top titles in WWE, and it will be interesting to see what is next for her.
The Queen is still one of the best workers in the ring and Bayley could do with a proper rival in the coming months.
Asuka and Nia Jax are to face off at Backlash, and maybe the winner could take on Charlotte too. The Queen could benefit from sticking to one brand and trying to dominate it.
Charlotte is one of the hardest workers in the ring. However, too much exposure isn’t great either, especially given the talent WWE has in their women’s division.
Charlotte becoming the NXT Champion was also unexpected after she won the Royal Rumble, but she did have a great rivalry with Ripley leading up to WrestleMania.
