Charlotte Flair slams outlet for questioning her selection as the face of the women’s roster after making WWE return
WWE superstar Charlotte Flair is one of, if not the most popular wrestler in the world at the moment. For long, wrestling fans have debated her ability inside their ring and if it is in sync with the title opportunities that she gets.
For example, she made her WWE return in December after a few months out due to a surgery. She was directly inserted as Asuka’s partner at TLC 2020.
The women’s tag team title match at the PPV had Asuka and Lana scheduled to take on Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
But, WWE played an injury angle to take Lana out of that fight. And who did they have to replace her? You guessed it.
Charlotte came back after a lengthy spell out on the sidelines and was immediately made the women’s tag team champion.
Charlotte Flair lashes out at outlet that implies she gets is easy every time she makes a return on WWE
An article brought up this topic and highlighted how The Queen was actually getting the luxuries that a queen would expect to get inside the ring; and, how she is not totally deserving of being the face of the women’s division.
She put out a thread of four tweets to address this, where she threatened to block the account that posted. Moreover, she implied that the site wasn’t asking the same questions to the male wrestlers over the same treatment.
Her anger was on display again in the last of her 4 tweets, where she said that she “will always be in the title picture.”
She also brought up her absence and why she was out of action, which is just thrice in her career. While Charlotte is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the world, she does get a lot of baggage due to the Flair name.
That is not the reason she has become one of the best in the world, and her abilities in the ring prove that.
