Chris Jericho believes AEW will beat of WWE Raw in the ratings race
Recently while speaking to the Busted Open Radio (h/t ringsidenews), Chris Jericho has claimed that AEW will get ahead for WWE in terms of ratings in the next four to six months.
He told about AEW beating Raw. Jericho says that the storytelling of All Elite Wrestling is what makes all the difference. Jericho even mentioned that watch AEW is like watching the first three episodes of Star Wars.
Le Champion was quoted as saying:
“Sooner or later, we’re going to start beating RAW. It’s not going to be every week, but I bet you over the next 2-4 months, maybe 4-6, we’re going to start beating RAW, and that’s my prediction that I’m saying to you guys right here. And the reason for that is we keep talking about the cool factor, but it’s the storytelling. We don’t panic, and we don’t rush. We live in our world, and we book accordingly. We book smartly. If you watch our show, it’s like watching the first three Star Wars episodes—one thing always leads to the next and sometimes you’ll see where the seeds were planted months earlier, but we always know what we want to do and where we want to go.”
Fans have started comparison between the top two wrestling Industries
Many people have shifted interest from WWE to All Elite Wrestling in the recent past, and the main reason behind this is the poor quality of WWE episodes.
First, some storylines of WWE don’t make sense at all, then the flaws of booking along with teams splitting for no reason. This resulted in the downfall of ratings of Monday Night Raw.
However, AEW has picked up excellent momentum among the world fans right now, with the debut of CM Punk, Paul Wright, aka Big Show, and many other stars coming in action for AEW. And even the Yes Man Daniel Bryan is on his way to make debut for the company.
Chris Jericho seemed quite confident about AEW’s upliftment in the future. Now we have to wait and watch that whether AEW Dynamite will defeat Monday Night Raw in ratings or not.
