CM Punk takes hilarious dig at Vince McMahon as Charlotte Flair posted her commentary photo

Charlotte Flair was on the commentary desk during this week’s WWE Monday Night RAW as Asuka and Rhea Ripley took part in their WrestleMania rematch.

Flair was constantly praising herself and saying how she elevates the women’s division. After the commentary duty was over, ‘The Queen’ posted a photo on her Twitter account.

She is seen sitting with the headset on the ringside desk in the photo and Flair asked WWE fans to give it a fitting caption.

Well, that was all the invitation former WWE champion CM Punk needed to take a crack at his former boss, Vince McMahon. ‘The Best in the World’ wrote:

“GODDAMNIT PAL WATCH THE MONITORS AND STOP SAYING WRESTLING PAL.”

That line is, of course, a reference to how McMahon is known to talk to announcers that are seated ringside and the man is perpetually in their ears.

Punk would have an idea about that considering he also did a fair bit of commentary during his time with the promotion.

Things did not end well for Punk and WWE, however. He left the company in 2014 after a major bust-up with McMahon and other senior figures.

But he has still managed to stay in touch with WWE superstars and take a crack at his former employers every now and then, even dropping hints of his WWE return along the way.

Charlotte Flair is yet to respond to the tweet as of now. With her still in WWE, maybe she would not want to risk getting into McMahon’s bad books. It was a harmless joke in all honesty and hopefully even Vince is a good sport about it.
