How did Brodie Lee pass away?
Lee, whose real name is Jonathan Huber, passed away on December 26th 2020 due to a lung problem.
In an emotional message posted by his wife Amanda Huber, she mentioned that he passed away after a “hard fought battle with a non Covid related lung issue.”
Lee joined WWE in 2012 and performed under the name ‘Luke Harper‘. His claim to fame came when he was a part of the Wyatt Family with Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt.
Harper ran out his contract and joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2020 under the name ‘Brodie Lee’, where he went on to win the AEW TNT Championship.
Lee fought his final wrestling match in the October 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he lost the match and his belt to Cody Rhodes. He was sidelined with an ‘undisclosed injury’ shortly after that.
