WWE Superstar Damian Priest kept off show for undisclosed reasons after back injury report
WWE Raw Superstar Damian Priest has been kept off television, not due to a back injury but other “undisclosed reasons.”
According to a report, Priest will be returning to WWE RAW as soon as next week. His last appearance came in a Lumberjack match against John Morrison. He also faced The Miz in a Zombie Lumberjack Match at WrestleMania Backlash.
Now, Fightful has stated that the back injury is not the reason why Priest has missed the last few episodes on Monday night.
There was also a rumour that Priest was not on good terms with the company, after The Miz suffered an ACL injury while facing him. WWE has been pushing Priest ever since his move up to the main roster.
It is seen that the WWE writing team could not find a creative direction to continue Priest’s path on WWE Raw. But, all that seems to be changing as he could be back on television by next week.
There were initial reports that Damian Priest would return for qualifying matches for Money in the Bank, next month. But it seems that those rumours were false as three men made their way from WWE Raw for the ladder match. The list includes Ricochet, John Morrison and Matt Riddle.
Priest will be hoping to have a big push towards the WWE Championship picture with Bobby Lashley. Lashley has high praises for him and will be interested in a feud in the future. Hopefully, Priest continues his good run from earlier this year and establish himself on the WWE RAW roster.
