Alexa Bliss was the deciding factor this week as Edge faced Randy Orton
Edge and Randy Orton went head-to-head on this week’s WWE Monday Night RAW. The two long-standing rivals fought it out for a good 15 minutes before Alexa Bliss appeared inside the ring.
Dripping black goo from her mouth, she creeped out The Viper and distracted him. This gave enough time to Edge to hit him with a Spear and pin him.
By the time the match ended, Little Miss Bliss was nowhere to be seen. Bliss and Orton then crossed paths on the ramp after the bell.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Busted Open podcast this week, Dave LaGreca and Bully Ray speculated about what is really going on between the duo on the show.
“Alexa Bliss gives that glance to Randy. Randy, maybe it was fear, maybe it was something else, would not look at Alexa Bliss. I thought that was very very telling.”
Could Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss be in a romantic angle on the show?
Addressing LaGreca’s question about why The Viper wouldn’t look at Bliss, Bully Ray raised his own questions about the duo’s on-screen relationship.
“Is Randy really afraid of that pint-sized demon? Was he so focused on Edge maybe that he didn’t even realize that they’re across the ring; like those questions are so intriguing that that keeps the story going in our minds.”
Ray mentions that both Bliss and Orton are doing a great job in the storyline. And, that WWE has carefully written the plot to keep fans wondering what will happen next.
The former WWE wrestler even asked if the two could engage in a romantic angle later in the show.
“And when the story keeps going in our mind, now next week I’d like to see if Randy and Alexa cross paths again. Hell, do Randy and Alexa kind of like each other after all of this harm they have inflicted on one another? We know that Alexa likes Randy. Is Randy going to try and win over Alexa which is going to make The Fiend vulnerable and jealous?”
Like Ray, we too are intrigued by what happens next and it remains to be seen where WWE carries this story. Despite the possible outcomes, it looks like all of this is gearing towards the return of The Fiend on the show.
