WWE released Deonna Purrazzo recently from their NXT roster

Former WWE star Deonna Purrazzo might be back in the big time soon. The NXT star was released by WWE recently despite her making some appearances on the top brands.

However, Purrazzo wasn’t able to keep her spot on the roster, but the Virtuosa isn’t bogged down by her exit.

She has consistently claimed that she would be back soon, and it seems her plans are ready. Purrazzo initially tweeted a GIF of her finisher with her opponent tapping out.

However, she was then hit up by IMPACT Wrestling star Wera Loca (Taya Valkyrie), who is also the wife of John Morrison.

While Morrison is on WWE, Loca was more than willing to face off against Purrazzo. The Virtuosa wasn’t going to back down from the fight and accepted the challenge too.

Big things ahead for Purrazzo?

Valkyrie has been hit up by Paige in the past to make a move to WWE. That happened when Morrison made his return to the promotion after almost a decade out.

However, it will be interesting to see how things go for Purrazzo. She was one of the most talented female athletes on NXT but didn’t get enough minutes to shine.

That wasn’t completely her fault though. NXT has a ton of quality female athletes and her time might have come if WWE didn’t have to resort to cost-cutting measures.

Purrazzo still has other promotions she can try to wrestle for. AEW and TNA are still decent options, and it will be interesting to see where the Virtuosa ends up in the coming weeks.

Valkyrie is one of the top stars on IMPACT, and that promotion does have a decent female roster too.
